I know that stock hid headlights come with AFS and the non hids dont come with AFS. my car is stock hid which has AFS and i need to get a replacement headlight unit and i'm wondering if there is actually two versions of the unit, one for afs and another for non-afs. or is the unit generic? is the afs part of it attached to the actual projector?

 

All HID headlights come with AFS ... its built into the headlight I believe ...

So yes, 2 different units, one for HIS w/ AFS, and one for halogen...
