So I'm really thinking about doing a matte black wrap on my car. $2500 out the door. I really want to do it, but I want legit feedback before I make a final decision. Don't leave me hanging. I really appreciate all ya'lls imput in advance. Thanks!

Some may say matte black is a bit played out, but I still like it alot! I say you do it.
I believe member JDM NUB had it done a couple of years ago and it was beautiful/

1. Matte black is played out
2. Looks like primer
3. Downgrade in color imo compared to our lexus oem colors

I wouldn't do it but I would do matte white or any other color but matte black.

Each person has their opinion on it. I personally like it, it will definitely stand out.

fyi, it was johnnyboy's car, and iirc it was PAINTED matte black.

imo, most of it is personal opinion (whether you the OP likes it or not), while the other part is how well it is executed (whether it actually looks like quality job or a hack job).

if you like it, do it. reactions aside, it's your car, it's your call. just remember that there'll always be nay-sayers, haters, and people with negative criticism.

If you get it done, it should be like Johnnyboy's car ... more of a satin-ish matte black ... it did NOT look like primer like some matte blacks out there...

Imo .. I would not do it ... But that's jus personal preference ..

I've seen a few members on here who have tried to pull it off but it jus looks so damn ghetto...

However the ONLY car I've seen pull it off and make it look excellent is johnnyboys
