are there any good rims i could buy online anywhere? im looking to spend at most $1500. i look on the lexus website and saw thier alloy ones 18" for $1300. don't know if that is worth it.
another question is i have snow tires on my car right now. my summer tires are in the basement in bags. if i get another set of rims can i just have those tires put on? im a rookie at this lol i remember as a kid changing bike tires the tires had tubes in them is a car the same? will i have to buy tubes and rims and have the summer tires put back on?
The Kyowa racing KR626 matte black..I have had them since Aug & done 2 track days with them & hit tons of pot holes here in crappy L.A. road land. They are light & so far have been great. Yes there are not the ones that most followers here at CL buy, but i like them & have had no issues with el cheapo'... I have had $750 dollar A rim, rims before & have hit a cub & bent one & it was hell getting a new one. So now i bought a cheaper wheel & if i have an issue then it's no big deal if i have to replace.
That is a good startin point get some used rims... unless u only like new stuff like I am about most things. U still have a couple options... I also like a couple of those rims they have on that website above
I've got a practically brand new set of Privat 19" staggered size wheel/tire/TPMS combo that I need to move since I sold my IS. Wheels/Tires/Sensors/and lug's right in your price range.
Send me an e-mail and I'll give you all the details and pictures.
well to help answer your question, we would need to know what size summer tires you have and what size wheels you plan on buying.
umm the summer tires are stock so i believe it is 225/40/r18 on the front and 255/40/r18 on the rear. i'll probably get the same i dont know if it matter or not.
