Default trunk interior trim falling of...

I was pulling some junk out of my trunk tonight and noticed the lining on the roof of the trunk is sagging and a gap has appeared at the edge. If I open it up a little more, I can see patches of yellow glue blotted in there. Kinda of surprised to see this on a newer car, let alone a Lexus. Curious, anyone else run across this? I trip to the dealer is coming soon.

Mine popped off completely. The glue they used sticks very well to the liner, but not to the clips holding them in. I left it until i can get all the dried glue off.

What's your plan after that?

Glue the clips back onto the liner. It's a pain to remove it glue. I think i'll need to sand it or something.

Same thing happened on one of the clips I just got liquid nails put some on both surfaces let it come together and disconnect several times until it got tacky and then let it dry. I didn't need to take the old glue off and it still holds it fine.

Had it happen in my IS250AWD and my IS-F. Takes them/me a few minutes to add some glue to make it stick again.

Thanks for the responses. I'll let the dealer work on it soon.
