Default Help with wheel size

hey looking to pick up a set of Volk GT-30s.

These are the specs:

20x8.5 +42 (245/35/20)
20x9.5 +37 (275/30/20)

I currently have no drop on my car now but looking for coilovers.

Also the finish is formula silver, what do you think about those on a White IS250.

Thanks.

i personally like darker colored wheels on white cars or maybe even like gunmetal/burning black but its' your car and i think it'll come out nice. with no drop those sizes will be fine, and when you get coilovers yes you'll need to do fender work

Thats why i was thinking of a gold face or black face and black lip.

If i do 20s, will i have to do fender work regardless. Thats why i think 19s are a better suit for the IS with no fender work.

You only need fender work if your rims are aggressive enough, tbh those settings sound weak, I suggest 19x9 offset in the 30's 19x10 or 19x10.5 in offset 30's with 225/35 and 265-275/35, just my opinion.

For the spec you have I think fender work might be required when lowered, although some people think these numbers are still WEAK...
