Default Ive been so mia!

k guys, i know i barely go on this site.
but i got a story to tell you guys..
in this past recent summer on the 4th of july night.
some chick freakin was speeding through a residential and hit me and i spun out while i was making a turn on this 4-way intersection in a neighborhood and ..assumingly this F#%$ing beez hit me and spun me out and i hit a concrete wall and she landed in the next block with barely any damages to her lil dinky corolla.
and cops found out i had alcohol in my system so it was my fault at scene?!
even though i blew a .05 on the BAC. ...(BS i know).
so where im goin with this..
i took my car to a body shop to fix it all and they said it was bout 28k to fix it?
sounds pretty expensive to fix it but i went ahead and got it fixed.
the car took bout a good 4 months to fix it
and i got my license suspended so i cant even test drive my car all the way. but supposivly everything is back in mint condition.
i have an odd feeling there might be still something wrong with my car. everything seems to work perfectly fine but i only major damages were to my front of my car with pretty much cosmetics. dinging on the chassis and the frame a bit. but here are some the pics of the before and after i took on my phone recently.

anyone in the SD area who wants to help a homegirl out?

sorry to hear what happened to you. its unfortunate that you truly were the victim yet cops made it seem that you instigated the crime, which obviously you didnt. if the speeding pregnant lady really wanted to sue, you have the right to countersue based on the factual evidence from the accident. it did seem odd that she was speeding at the rate you said she did, and she barely had any damage. toyota quality IMO is pretty good, but not enough to hide the blemish of a speedster.

in any case, no reason to dwell on the past. this is still a brand new year. plenty of great stuff in store for you. and im glad you stuck with your baby. getting a brand new car would be great initially, but the history a car driver has with her car is priceless. best of luck to ya gurl!

idk i think im trippin out, i tried to hit like at 80mph on my car after the repairs..my rpm is hitting at like 6000-7500 rpm is that normal .. im not even sure.. and i think the new front bumper looks a tad lil loose.. the way i looked at it, it looks like its not a tight closure and i can still pull it up a bit, i think that might be an easy fix, and i think the idiots used a different type of gas and oil in my car, so maybe thats why my car is getting high rpms right now. but ill fix that soon with my normal oil Royal purple! ftw!

but yeah, only real reason why i really wanted her fixed cause she was my dream car since high school and i actually got her with my own money. cant give up on that dream yet!

Well sounds like the best thing to do is just run the car until the tanks almost empty and fill it with some 91. Sucks cause they had your car in the shop for 4 months and sitting too long cant be good. 91 and oil change maybe should help out. btw double check the guys job cause sometimes they wont use oem screw to install the parts.

wow 28k? should've just upgraded to the 335. When my girl crashed the front end it looked a lot worse and i was quoted around 18. The only problem with mine is bottom of the headlights don't sit flush with the bumper and the metal frame behind the grill isn't painted black. glad to hear you're ok though

Did you have it repaired at the dealership or was it a random shop?

*ALWAYS REFUSE TO BREATHE* And then get a lawyer. Unfortunately, cops will view your testimony as tainted because you were drinking, so the best thing you can do is to say nothing. Nothing you say will help you, so you might as well just not talk.

Sadly, I think it might be a tad late for you to do anything except talk to the shop, tell them the problem. The work should have some kind of guarantee, especially when you dish out 28k to fix it.

^^ nope no way it could've been 2800. 28k still does sound a tad expensive, and i'm sure the body shop did milk the insurance company a lil bit. i got my front bumper smashed in and only mechanical damage was radiator, it cost me 16k.

depending on her head lamps, if she has HID/AFS each one is 1k each, new bumper cover, hood, both front fenders, obviously her frame is probably bent so they had to get it on a machine and tweak it, and sooooo much more stuff.

i later realized that my body shop i took my car to charged my insurance company 1k for each headlamp when i have the non-hid ones that only cost 400 each. also things like how my clear bra costed 500 bucks for just the hood. stupid **** like that. damn body shops always try to get as much as they can out of the insurance and rip people off.
