Talking Changing wheels question *HELP*

Hey guys my IS350 currently have the 06 silver finish
and are in the process of switching to the
08 graphite version as an even swap with someone else
my question is will I have any problems with the TPMS sensors?

Thank you,
toHn

just take out your sensors and put them in the new rims.

You need to reprogram the car to recognize the new sensors mostly could be done via the dealer for $$$

lol... before u switch them u both need to realize that the dealer wanted 400 dollars to reprogram my tpms. u should take it to a tire shop like discount tires and have them take out the sensors for 15 dollars each. so 15 x 4 = 60 is less that 400..

you're gonna have to dismount them anyways to write the codes down for each sensor so the dealer can program them. so might as well keep your original ones and save the trip to stealership.

You can also take your car into the dealership, have your original codes read by their computer, and then swap codes with each other and have your car reprogrammed.

discount tire has the bartec 400plus tool that will read and write TPMS to the car without breaking the tire/wheel open. The tool activate and will read each sensor at the wheel wirelessly.

They broke one of my sensors and replaced it on the spot(they stock all major sensors now) and reprogrammed it last week. worked like a charm.

if you got a discount or americas tire, go see what he they will charge to do this. takes them 2 minutes to do.
