I saw this before on eBay but I have an 09. If it fit my car, I would drive down to SJ just to take a look at it first before buying. But, like all things in life, you get what you paid for.

It does look good though, I see inspirations from the Wald lip.

i thought polyurethane was better than fiberglass, since it has a flexible compound built into the material, and is also a hard compound plastic that doesn't crack or break to the harsh environment. Similar to ABS plastic
Fiberglass = Crappy IMO

 

I was thinking the same but dont you think since it is so flexible that paint cracks easier?

 

Might check out the shop. Ill let you guys no whatsup. From what ive read they sell alot of replica stuff...

 

i think it all depends on the shop's paint...maaco paint vs. very good paint(quality paint). i have see abs plastic body parts flex and all they do is pop it back to shape and no paint comes off except for when they hit that part of the bumper to the object..

 

As far as I know, polyurethane is definitely more durable but yes the paint could chip. I guess it depends on the paint shop you take it to and the flex additive they use since polyurethane is also more flexible.

Being a replica kit, if fitment is a little off, I'm not sure of the difficulty to make a polyurethane kit fit correctly. I know fiberglass is easier to shave and sand. I got lucky with my replica INGS as the fitment was better than authentic (according to body shops I've spoken to that have worked on both authentic and replica).

 

Let me know if they sell replica of Tom's '06-'08 full kit
