I searched and got no hits from the IS forum. The only placed it's mentioned is in the Clubhouse but can't see any IS owners talking about it.

Does anyone with an IS 250/350 have either the Droid or Eris Android phone from Verizon? Is it compatible with bluetooth, contacts synch, battery strength show on Navi etc..?

Would like to hear any feedback if you own either phone.

i have a droid it works thru bluetooth and will show battery on the nav screen... i never syncd contacts before so wouldnt know about that

 

I have a moto droid and I it pairs with the stock navi in my 2007 IS350. It shows the battery strength. It works fine for making and receiving phone calls.
But I have yet to get it to upload contacts to the navi. From reading other forums it seems to be an Android bug of some kind. The 2.0.1 version of the Android OS hasn't helped either.

 

I have the Hero (which is basically the same as the Eris). The bluetooth works about 95% (about 5% of the time it won't connect on the first try). The battery/strength indicators do show on the Navi, but I'm not sure about the contact sync.
