Make sure you ask if this will fit your '09. Not sure if they are avail for the IS facelift. yet.

 

Joseph, please don't buy that front kit. I see no point since it does not make a difference. 400 bucks with paint job = about $710 bucks. I mean its your money and your preference, but it I was you, I would save up for a wald front kit or the fab kit =D

 

check out westminister lexus, its way cheaper, around 300 bucks. ask for kerri! He's a really good guy!

 

5axis lip is better looking than fab front lip, but just me.

"It does not make a difference" - what does that mean?

I like the 5-Axis lip - looks much better than the Fab lip (I'm biased, of course). Also, you're getting ripped off if you pay $310 to paint a front lip - I paid less than $150 to get mine done.

The whole conversation might be moot, though - the 5-Axis lip only fits the 06-08 IS.

 

It's okay if you don't like it, just don't say it does not make a difference.

 

fyi, javyLSU's is350 - imo one of the best-looking OG (vintage MY2006) 2is's in this community - has a 5 axis front lip. molded, might i add, but rockin' it none the less.

UV's sharpie is350 also has the 5 axis front lip. granted, he's got the sharpie action going on, but his 2is also has the 5 axis front lip.

those are just two of the more obvious 2is's w/ the 5 axis lip.

just because the wald or fab kit are priced atmospherically high does not make them "difference makers". if anything, i consider them overpriced, but that's just me.

but then again, if this is for a MY2009 2is, i don't think it'll fit without modifications, since the front bumpers for MY06-08 and MY09 are different.

 

since he is not you he prob wants to get the 5 axis lip... too bad the 5 axis lip does not fit the 09+ is
