Default Headlight Aim

I have non HID headlights with aftermarket HIDs. i recently had to remove my HIDs and put the factory bulbs back in so the dealer would do some maint. but now that i installed the HIDs the aim on the driver headlamp is lower than usual.

Does anyone know how to adjust the vertical aim on the headlamp.

Huh? Non-HID lamps? You mean non-projector housings? Either way there is usually a screw that u turn on the headlamp itself for vertical alignment.

The owners manual has a page showing the two screws for vertical and horizontal adjustments. They are (A) and (B) good luck with (B) by the way it's a pain in the ***.

If you read the manual it's pretty clear you shouldn't adjust one without adjusting the other.

IsD, yes, ISx50's can come without HID's, but they still come with projector housings.

I just installed my aftermarket HID kit this past weekend and had the same problem. If you look behind the housing, there's a bolt that's painted silver (painted or naturally, can't remember). You'll need a wrench (i think maybe 5mm or smaller) to get at it. Turn it clockwise to raise the height of the beam level. It's a tight area, so it's a little bit of a pain in the ***.

I hope that's right, 'cause that's what I did. lol, but it increased the height to where I want it and the beam pattern is good. Hope this helps.
