lol u mention the fluid but not everything else inside the trans thats at a stand still while its recieving all that power, steels, clutch plates, sun gears, output input shaft, torque converter, <--- at least i think those are at a stand still. but definately the driveshaft isn't spinning but its recieveing power so its being twisted.
anyway... i've done this alot, along with burnouts and the tranny on the is350 is pretty strong haha. i think the differential is the weakest link
and yes, it will hurt your car if you do it ever so often. but if/when stuff breaks, dont expect much sympathy from me or a lot of other members for your actions
I have done 3 or 4 burnouts in a row to heat the tires up Ill stay on the brakes up until just before I redline then ride the burnout about 30 feet and I have never had a problem and take my word for it Ive done it quite a lot I used to race 2-3 times a week
