Default Do you guys also scrape your exhaust?

Does anyone else do this on their coilovers?? I have an F-Sport exhaust right now, but upgrading to a Wald in a couple weeks time, and I don't want to be scraping that. Is there anything I can do to prevent this...?? I'm currently on Tein SS Coilovers if that helps any. Thanks!

you'll scrape only if you're not careful.

that, and if you're TOO low.

welll i can't really do anything if i'm on the highway now can i...? even when i go at an angle over some speed bumps locally, i still scrape...i noticed however, when i looked beneath my car, that the downpipe or y-pipe or whatever i'm not sure which just naturally hangs lower....is this the case with the f-sport or is it like that for all after-market exhausts.

1. raise your 2is.
2. drive carefully.

wash, rinse, repeat.

there's no science or magic to it. just plain, simple logic.

I scrape my HKS Hi-Power cans when exiting certain driveways. And I'm not even dropped that much!

1. looking beyond obvious solutions. a three year old could have told me that. i'm looking for other things i could do besides raising it.

2. i do drive carefully.

You could always try using zip ties to pull your exhaust closer to the top...

if you had actually and logically thought your problem out, your fears may not have materialized into your post.

there is no magic pixie dust for the solution you're looking for. if you have clearance issues (read: if your exhaust system scrapes), your ride height is too low. raise your 2is, and you won't have those issues.

and seeing as to how you "do drive carefully", then you should have no reasons to worry.

sometimes the most unnecessarily-complicated problems have the simplest answers.

your wald is coming in a few weeks. it would be only a downgrade for a few weeks but you wont decrease the value of the exhaust even more.
