for people under warranty, the dealer uses part 86111 but that can't be the right price. Cost should be around $2500

anyhow, have you see this thread?

Apparently LEXUS has a problem with their touch screen. It should be a recall problem. My 2007 GS430 has this problem. I took it to the dealer and the technician there immediately and without testing or checking said "screen must be changed". Cost? Around $2000. This is hwy robbery. I'll try options suggested by other forum members and report later.

I see you had to buy a new Nav. .... i'm looking at buying an IS250 without navigation and was wondering if it's possible to install one later. I'm sure it's possible.... just wondering how much it would cost for parts and if it's worth it.
Thanks for your help
