Exclamation Rear clunk/thud noise

Since day one i had the noise coming from the back of my car (see vid). It only happens on a specific part of a highway that i use to commute back from work.

The road is ripple and bumpy, yet no other cars that i owned had this problem including my lowered s2000 (sold) blasting through it. Running my IS below 80 km/h (~50mph) on that specific road seems to eliminate it, but my concern was to find out what actually caused it.

Dealer has checked the suspension area and found no suspicious visuals/contacts to whatever caused this. Tried removing all items (tools, jacks, etc) from the trunk but doesn't help at all.

Now the dealer is setting up an appointment to use their demo IS to see if their car has the same problem. Any of you have any ideas what might be the problem?

I have similar problem.

Around driver's side rear wheel, I hear clunky noise. it sounds like yours but mine is less noiser and have multiple sounds.. 2 or 3

I removed everything on my trunk but it still makes noise.
I still can't figure out when and how it makes the noise. It only happens whenever it wants do. little bumpy or stop/go or turning makes noise but not all the time. maybe 6 times out of 10....

I made an appointment. hopefully they can figure out whats wrong.
