Hello,

I hit a pot hole (harder with the back end of my car). It didnt do anything to my tires or rims. But something strange is going on. Whenever I hit a normal bump on the road.... my back end makes a strange noise. Almost like something is pounding in my trunk. I checked my spare tire and it is secured. What could the problem be? I am worried it is something major.

 

Maybe a suspension issue?? Your probably gonna have to take it to the dealer or a mechanic to know what to look for... GL, damn pot holes!!

 

did you check the mudflaps? maybe those got damaged when you hit the potholes. my mudflaps came lose and were hitting the wheels causing lots of noise from the wheels.

 

I had noises coming from the rear of the car (When going over bumps) and it turned out to be the emergency brake. It took 3 adjustments until the senior Tech told me that each rear wheel has to be separately adjusted perfectly and then the slack has to be taken out of the cable. No more noise.
