anyone know anything about the new style black filled emblems with blueish shadow that comes with the new RX's and the GS hybrids? they look nice when I see them on the RX. wondering if I get an RX emblem will it fit my IS?

 

I think GS has the same size of IS, not sure about the RX.

 

I'm referring to the ones like this:



will the GS one fit the IS boot lid?

 

Oh forgot, I think the GS doesnt have that emblem, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure about sizes, I think they all are the same, it's available on LS Hybrids too.

the ones with the blue hue are the hybrid models, even toyota is doing it to thier prius' and camry.

 

also ment to mention that the salesmen I go through at sacto lexus mentioned they are the same size and will go on an IS, just wasn't sure if it would look good from the dome style versus just the emblem.

 

The blue outlined 'L' emblem on the back of the LS600h costs $479.00.

 

the emblems ur talking bout come on the hybrid models, and yeah they go for 400$+

 

thats not a hybrid emblem...thats a precrash system emblem and it lists for 985$

 

For that kind of money I would just get this instead. Rashoodz has picture samples of other colors too from Think design.jp

 

The new Prius has them (Not "L" but "T", of course) too. I think they look kind of tacky but to each their own. If you like them go for it.

 

yeah, those are not hybrid emblems. The emblem emits radar signals for the PCS system. It is an option that could be bought with the IS.

 

Im feelin that white grill on the the white car dude.

 

Its blue to signify its a Lexus hybrid. That is the REASON its blue. Why put hybrid emblems on your non hybrid Lexus?
