I wonder if Lexus would ever want to bring such a project back again. The build up there looks amazing, just wish it actually made it through....

Nope. At this point in time Lexus has no interest. Plus they are doing so well in Rolex with the Daytona Prototypes with Chip Ganassi that there is no reason to do so. Plus there is no direct competition with any manufacturers that Lexus competes with on a daily basis such as BMW.

Cars were sold 3 years ago. They were completely reworked and don't resemble the pics above now. They race in the Speed World Challenge series with a N/A V8 engine setup. The cars are a farcry from what they were originally designed to be and suck on the track now also.
