Default New Member/Owner - Need Wheels

Does anyone know where I could pick up a nice set of 18" (or larger) wheels for '08 IS250 AWD without having to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house? I currently have stock 17" and almost looks too small for the car (see pics). I've looked many place (including stealership) and the prices are thru the roof! I don't want crap rims, but would rather not pay MRSP.

Any places out there that would do a "trade-in" on my stock rims to help lower the cost? I really like an OEM rim, but am worried it isn't possible for any less than an arm, leg and a few fingers on my good hand -

Also, what is about the largest rim/tire size I can go on AWD model?

Thanks for the help!

Check out the Wheels and Tires section of the member classifieds. Not only can you browse for some new wheels at discounted prices, but you can also list your stock wheels for sale to help offset the cost of the new ones. Good luck!

Thumbs up Thanks for the link Javier!

I've also been noticing that going with larger wheels requires a reduction in height (lowering)...? I did a search on this but the info was sketchy and overwhelming. Anyone know of a good info/DIY thread conserning this topic? Something one (without a lift) could do fairly easily?

Default Stock 18's on your is250

You can pick up a set of stock 18's easily on this forum or even on your local craigslist. Ive got an is250 that had 17's and i converted that to a winter set, and found a guy selling his set of stock 18's for 700, plus tires with about 7/32 tread left on them.

cheers,
