Default Minor Hit and Run. (Pics) Need Suggestions....

Kinda my fault in a way but I reversed parked in this spot right next to the turning entrance/exit. I went in this thai restaurant to order some food to go. As soon as I got home and parked in my garage I saw the damage. This was night time by the way. I wiped off all the white dust. I'm guessing a white car drove forward and nicked me on his side or something?

What steps should I take to fix this? All help is appreciated

Well he took off some paint but the rest of those scuffs look like they can be buffed out, I know there are some people who specialize in bumper touch-ups or spot painting but the quality will not be that of a full bumper re-paint. Get some quotes from body shops to get an accurate estimate.

My friend recommended me to buy some touch up paint from the dealer and trying buffing it myself. Not sure how that would come out

sucks to hear. definitely try the touch up paint and buff it yourself. there is not even a whole bumper affected, so the body paint for a new bumper would not be worth the minor section you need touched up. but if you want the factory paint, its best to do the entire bumper.

Buffing won't do anything for those areas you see the black - there is no more paint left in those areas...

depends on how much you really want to spend. that's happened to me before and the guys above me are right... the black areas have no paint left at all. you can either touch up paint the areas BUT don't forget that touch up paint isn't going to adhere as well as real paint and it won't match 100%. the other marks seem as if they might be able to be buffed out though.

so yeah... if you want to get it back to factory-ish...i'd suggest to go to a pro. if not then there's always the personal touch.

Well, figure this.... you can buff out a lot of that. Go ahead and try some touch up paint.... worst case is that you spend $25 on touch up paint, decide you don't like it, and then go get it painted. It's worth a shot but if it were me I'd go for the bumper repaint.

Touch up paint won't do jack squad if you want the OEM look, otherwise it will look like a beaten up Honda. Go to a shop and repaint that sucker.

+1 dojoman, touch up paint won't work miracles on those scratches! Sorry the car needs a paint shop

Around $300-400, cheapest I seen is around $250.

Too bad you live too far. I know a guy down here charge $100 for labor. All you have to do is buy the paint, doesn't cost much at all.
