235 35 19 on all 4 corners ? whats your rim specs?

 

Hoping someone can help and answer my question on here, tried on the other thread but nothing. Im putting some daily enkei rpf1 wheels on my awd, they are 17x9 +45 and 17x9.5 +38. Im going to order new tires, but Can i safley run 235/45/17 all around without any issues?

 

You'll be fine. I know a few people who have had a similar setup for a while. It's only gonna be stretched more in the rear

 

Ok perfect thanks. Yeah thought about the 235 all around since i want to stay close to the original 225, but a 225 on the 17x9.5 going to have have to much strech which i dont want.

 

Also btw forgot to ask, do you know if the 235/4/17 will rub lowered on h&r springs?

 

Can anyone tell me if this will work 225/40R18, (Rear) 255/40R18

 

Ok so after reading all these pages. The closest and safest set up is (correct me if I'm wrong) so I can hurry up and get my damn wheels already lol. (2012 IS250 AWD)
Front 19" 8.5 offset 35
Rear 19" 9.5 offset 35
235 35 19
275 30 19
Is this the best or perfect set up? No issues to the awd?

Perfect setup 235/35 and 275/30/19. I've ran this for a year now no problems. Just don't go too low on coils because I've noticed I have a slight tear in my drivers side cv boot. I'm 08 250 awd. Also spend the extra money on good tires because I have nankangs and the ride is not so great and noisy on the highway.

WOW ! I am overwhelmed with great insight and information regarding the use of staggered tires on IS250 AWD. The general take away is that as long as we keep the difference in diameter to a minimum, everything should be ok. What I haven't seen (and yes, I think I read EVERY post on this very long thread) is the grey area... How much is TOO much?

We just installed Dunlop Blizzaks on our 250 AWD, with OEM Lexus F-Sport 18" rims (bought them off of an IS350 RWD owner). I have calculated the circumference differences on a spreadsheet that I found on this thread and it looks like I have several inches of difference. Is this too much? She (my wife) drove the car today with no issues...

My check 4WD light came on not too long ago.
was told my sensor might be loose but I have to check it out to be sure. If this happened to anyone else let me know.

Your tire sizes (front/back) variance is 5.19% which is causing that light, not a loose sensor.

 

Really want these rims, going to go look at them later this week.

Can some one please let me know if this setup will fit my AWD IS 250?

^^ Thats going to take A LOT of fender work and camber..not sure if that's in your plans. Then the tires will need to replaced because the specs wont work for AWD.

I haven't seen any discussion on if larger staggered wheel even if diameters are the same front/back will affect the speedometer.
Usually running bigger tires will have Your speedometer showing you going slower than you actually are.
can it be reprogrammed to compensate for tire size?
