Hey guys,

I'm trying to set the local speed cams in my NAV to chime when I approach a speedcam. I've got the locations marked in my memory points, and I'm going into the Icon menu to change the map icon to a "with sound" icon, but I'm not getting any sound when I approach the locations.
The "with sound" icons have a speaker icon next to them which is there presumably so you can hear the sound before selecting it. When I press those buttons, I hear nothing.
Any ideas? It's really getting annoying.

 

I tried this when I got my car by area's that I know cops hang out and it didn't work either.
as far as I know, for the sound to play you would need to have one of those memory points set as a destination. Just going past the points that you saved will not activate the sound to play. It must be set as a destination.
It's a good concept to remind yourself you are in a speed zone but I don't think it can work application wise with the denso nav system.

 

ah. I'll try setting it to destination to see if it works...if that is true then it is totally lame. Would be really useful if it just chirped at you when you got nearby. thanks
