i swapped in some HID's in my IS and the same thing happened. i have a code reader and just cleared the code. it may take 4-6 restarts to get rid of the lights, or you may have to clear the codes

Goes away normally. It's probably because you disconnected the air intake box and the sensor that's on it. Give it a few drives and it'll disappear.

You should take it to the dealership and have them safely remove the code for you. Thats the reason why we have warranties.

well i decided to take one of the bulbs out to check if its bad...and it looked fine...after reinstalling it the light went away but then one of my bulbs kept going out, so i had to turn of my headlights, then turn it back on. but it kept on turning off on me and den it died completely, but the good thing was the check engine and the vsc light went away. so i swap the left bulb to the right bulb and now both bulbs work normally after a quick test drive, but the check engine and vsc came back on...but i guess ill drive it a couple of times like wat all of you said and hopefully it will go away permanently. thanks for all the input u guys rock. ill post up some pics tomorrow, if all goes well lol.
