i just receive mind today from HID SYSTEM INC which is one of the sponsor on this forum. I order 6k and love it. everything is straight forward and easy to install. Just make sure you test it out first before putting everything back together. I paid 60 ship and got it in 2 days. i cant beleive HID is not a standard on the lexus.

The bulbs he listed are D4s, meaning that his car came with HIDs stock, but he just wants to change the bulbs to that of a bluer spectrum.

He does not need a kit.

I don't know about you guys, but in CA... HID is STOCK!! You won't find ONE non-HID lexus sitting on the lot. My "Base" IS250 has HID with AFS and heated/cooled seats.

I have leather and power seats also ... I hope you guys get that in your base model too

Not just that, why is he even looking at D4s bulbs when he should be looking at the whole H11 HID kits.

That's not necessarily true... I bought my 2008 IS350 at Longo Lexus brand new and it doesn't have HID's or AFS

well you always get what you pay for, for me about 3 years ago a bought a 6000k McCulloch HID kit off ebay for like 290, still works till this day. have you checked for reviews on Garax hid brand? cuz if its a cheap bulb and ballast it may not last that long..

i got my old set of 6k garax from the 1st one listed in the link. they were just as good and quality is top notch and the casing is the same as from IJDMTOY.com. PLUS i believe you can knock it down if you offer on the price to like 70 bucks!

and my d2s garax 3k for fogs are HELLA YELLOW! and the bulb quality looks excellent and it was only 35 bucks on the ijdmtoy website

garax is

Back on topic, if you have halogen bulbs you should get an h11 kit from ebay, just make sure that the person you order them from has at least 1000+ rating and 99% at least, the kits shouldn't matter too much if you're looking for a bargain. if you want quality kits order from a vender here or v-leds.com has a nice kit for a decent price

I've had 6000k Garax bulbs for my IS350, and also my SC430.

Paired with Xenon Depot HIDs for my fogs, and it looks like this:

Stock HIDs if I remember correctly are 4300k ... which has the most useable light output your going to get ....
