06-07 IS with 50k miles
Hi.
new member. i started looking at used 350's and found some good ones in the area but with 45k plus miles.
anyone have any issues with the IS with decent miles.
i started looking after i saw an F at the gym. its out of my range but its a sweet car so the 350 is the next best choice.
i've been reading the forums for awhile so i have seen a host of awesome cars here. i hope that i can officially join soon when i pick one up.
thanks

^^There's nothing to support that. TSIBs cover 06 - 08 for most things. I traded my 350 with 59k on it, and it was still in perfect working order - every single feature still worked as advertised. I just wanted another 110 hp...

I'm with Lobuxracer. Got my '06 in 2005, so it's not just the first year - but also the first few months of production of the 2IS, and the car has been extremely reliable.

06-07 with 45K+ miles shouldn't be a problem. Like everyone else has said, its a Toyota, it should last you another 60K miles or so. If you're worried, see if you can purchase the IS with an extended warranty, then you should be covered. Good luck on your search for a new car.

i got a 350 about 3 weeks ago wit 39,800 on it for 26,599 and i dont regret the car at all. well maybe premium but he the car runs ****. i love this car. matador red looks so good with a nice polish and wax i say go for and if they offer an extened warrenty to you. i would say get it (JUST IN CASE) oem parts can get pricey if something were to happen.

thanks for the replies. i figured that since a toyota that its gonna be good for many many miles.
i have found a few within a 150 miles from me so im happy.
its mostly gonna be for the wife since i got a my old stang and bike to have fun with but there are plans for the upgrades to make it stand out.
the roads here in FL are pretty flat so its gonna go low and have a nice stereo.
well back to reading up some more.

Just bought my 07 with 50k miles on it for 25k. Still rides perfect. I'd take the one you are going to buy to Lexus for a prebuyers inpection. Costs 150 bucks but it made me feel much better about buying a car with that many miles.

I've had my '06 IS350 for over a year now. I bought it with 42K and now I have 62k with no issues at all. Never had any problems with it. Before I purchased, I did take the VIN number to Lexus to see if regular maintenance was performed and to see if it was all done with Lexus. All the regular scheduled maintenance was performed on time with Lexus. This made me feel a little more comfortable before purchasing. Good luck!
