Junkyards will let it go for under 1k, i've already tried, but decided to go with an aftermarket unit. Ebay will be 3k and under.

lol i was the one who posted the feeler of the whole nav..didn't know feeler's werent alowed..but i have the whole nav unit..it's ML but i'm using the ML DVD part to be able to watch dvd's

They pop up from time to time on ebay, like someone else said you don't necessarily need the one from a 2gen IS. Here's an active auction for a '06-'08 GS

If you know the part number you might be able to get the touchscreen out of a Toyota. It would be cheaper to go after a part out of a Toyota rather than a Lexus. Goodluck. I hope you find it at not too outrageous of a price.

let me ask this, can i get a nav unit from a 250 and hook up my ML dvd to play them still? or is there a difference between the 250 and 350 navs?

There is no difference. The screens are all the same. 250/350/F - doesn't matter.

thanks again lobux, i found a 250 navi upper unit for $625 shipped with your link! hopefully it looks as good as the person on the phone describes it.
