I just got a call from my salesmen at the dealership and he said that my car is on the allocation. What exactly does that mean and how long from there?

+1^^^, but the answer is: The dealer received the list of cars they will be receiving over the next few weeks (with colors and options), and yours is among them. I was told that the dealer can only see its alloction 2 weeks out.
