Exclamation Foglight fuse blew?

I had my HID fogs on my headlights for a couple month. It was a HID 6000k kit. Today I noticed that both of them is off when I intentionally turn it on. I try to turn it on and off in the car but no help for both side. I even put on my stock ones and it still wouldn't turn on. Does anyone know what the possible problem is? I am guessing the fog light fuse blew?

Most likely a fuse blew. Foglight fuse for my old maxima was under the hood, might be the same for you.

That sounds like the foglight fuse, because that has happened to me before. The fuse box is on the driver side under the hood (Right where you add washer fluid). You would need to buy the fuse from Lexus, because it's those smaller kind which I can't find at a local car store.

I checked and it seem like it is not the fuse problem. Any other possibility? I am bringing to the dealership most likely..

You mean you swapped a working fuse in place of what was in the foglight one?

yeah that happened to me. i believe its a 10. well i just put one of the replacement one, i think it was a 25 or something, since the hids are stronger than the normal ones i guess it takes out the fuse faster. (dont know if its true). well its been about 3 months and they are running perfect and strong.

Phiber,

Were you able to resolve your issue?

I'm having the same problem with my HID fogs. I checked the 15a fuse in the driver's side fuse box, but the fuse still looks good. My HID fogs are connected via a wiring harness with fuse and relay wired inline. I replaced both the fuse and relay, but it still isn't working. I also made sure it was properly grounded.

Any suggestions on what else to check?

I am planning to just bring it to the dealership. I am putting it back to stock before bringing it in..

i have HID on my foglight without wire harness relay and has no problem. If you are using harness with relay, you should check the fuse for relay as well. Most likely it's fuse. Make sure to check the small box with 4 fuses in there.

Hit me up if you guys in or near Orange county so i could help you guys out!!!!
