you could always just go to philips or sylvania's website and use their bulb finder.

they'll ask you for year, make, model and tell you every single bulb size used in your car

Sorry to bump this old thread but does anyone know why my manual says "9004" for the fogs and when I search it says 9006? Planning on picking up a HID kit for my fogs and want to make sure I get the correct type. Thanks!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that by installing an HID kit, you would be using a completely different bulb, making the OEM bulb irrelevant.

^^

Can someone confirm?

EDIT: Found my answer... I searched before but wasn't able to find this thread

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ight-bulb.html

Apparently it's 9006 for the fogs and there was a typo when they wrote 9004.

The reason I thought that with hid kits the bulb is different is because I have read from more recent posts about people using kits that use ds2 bulbs rather than from those posts in the earlier link with is from year 2006.

After researching a little, this is what I know; OEM fog lights do use 9006 bulbs and there are also 9006 hid bulbs for which you obviously need the ballast. There are also none-hid that say they have a hid look which don't need ballast, but are difficult to find some to match with real hid lows.
