Default E39 that replaced IS350

What's up guys! I am not known on this forum, due to the luck of posts I make. I sold my IS350 and got E39 instead. I loved my IS but with market going down and luck of back seat ( the only thing I didn't like about IS is how small the back seat is). New car is nothing special, just comfortable DD. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Edit: and ofcourse the picture of IS...

Hope you enjoy the E39,...... I got rid of my E39 (528i) for the IS 250. One thing you should be aware of is the VANOS on the E39. The seal for the valve is weak and many E39 owners have paid bug bucks in the repair when it goes. Mine was $ 3K to fix. Look at Bimmerfest forum and look around at the site,.... has lotts of great info and quite a few posts on the VANOS.

Good luck......

E39 looks nice but what an ureliable POS it really is, you should of bought a GS, more back seat and just a better car. Either way good luck with it, i was looking at buying one for the G/F and did some quick resarch and found how many people were going broke trying to fix these things.

Well put Sir,......... IMO if you are going to get any German automobile lease it and then get rid of it when it's done. They are a fortune to keep running properly when the waranty is done, not to mention no indy shop has any of the programing software to trouble shoot any of the electrics on the car you have to go back to the dealer.

Truth is I loved my 528i and it's a awesome ride but making car payments and monthly trips to the dealer get's old real fast. Hope your E39 serves you well...............

My buddy has a 08 335CI and let me tell you its a buitufull car and chipped pushing almost 400rwhp, extremly fast and super nice. 50k though is kinda steep if you think about it but he gets the free service for 50k miles everything is included even wiper blades and oil changes. Only thing isnt included as he found out a few months back is tires, he got a nail in the tire called the dealer and they said because its a runflat tire they cant repair it and it would be $485 to replace a tire(19"). Other then that he says he loves the car and owning multiple cars in the past 4 years, 2 c6 vettes, wrx, sti and so on he says he plans on keeping it untill warranty expires!
