Default Had To Vent A Little

So last monday the 4th I sent a check to Hennessy Lexus Of Duluth for a crystal white front gfx lip(last one in the country and they were suppose to hold it for me)and was expecting to get it this week. I got a call today and they said they sent it back to the warehouse on accident and when they requested it back they were told it had been destroyed by the warehouse which didnt make sense to me. The parts manager is trying to see what he can do but im so frustrated right now I dont even know what to think. Hopefully they can come up with a reasonable resolution to the problem. I know I can buy a diffrent color and have it painted but was trying to save some money.

for now i'd cancel your cheque... like stop payment on it just in case (if it's not too late)
and hopefully you can get some kind of a discount off your next purchase if they manage to get you another part

Good luck!

uhmmm...why on earth did you even pay in an advance? You don't pay until you get the parts in hand.

^ my guess is that the gfx lip was considered a special order (they aren't manufacturered anymore, to my knowledge), and as such payment is due at time of ordering.

Most dealer parts departments require in person payment for any orders. Don't worry - this is a Lexus dealer - your money is safe. And you will waste $50 to stop the check! (the banks are the real crooks here!)

better off buying whatever color sewell has left and painting it. They probably charged you msrp for that crystal white lip.
