Default Question about Fogs.

Okay guys here is the deal,
i would like to have my foglights on without having my Lowbeams on.

how exactly do i rewire this?

i have Yellow Drl/Hi beam
and Yellow fogs.
i want them running... only them two together....
any advice would be greatley appreciated.

I know there was talk about this a little while back.

One person has done his, but to a NON-US spec car. Something about removing part of the code from the ecu and re-writing it. (To euro-spec ?)

I think JoeZ was also looking into this at one point for our cars but no one has posted anything yet.

Hopefully someone finds a easy way to this, because i would also like to use fogs w/o low beams as well. (Better looking drl than the actual drl )

Now, just a thought, would it be possible to run the fogs off the DRL? That way, we get no drl in our headlights and our fogs on?

Just run extenders from the fogs and the high beams. only problem is when you are driving you will need led instead of the bulbs because they are too dim to be fogs.

search for old threads, you may find someone do the hardwire connection via a switch to control the fogs...

i dont think thats a good idea, mainly because the DRL is running at 35watts. thats why its "dim" i dont think the fogs can run 35 watts as mine are 55 watts there may be an issue with how bright the fogs would be.. hmm

im guessing maybe i have to tapp the fogs in to the battery for a paralell circuit..

i honestly dont know!..lol

i need a wiring diagram for the fogs to do a perfect setup and i dont wanna do trial and error.. i do hope someone comes up with a solution.

im sure all you have to do is bypass a wire on the fog light relay that is currently running to the low beams for power.

I have done this on a maxima before.
