When I start the car in the morning, or when the engine is cold, its really loud, I know the ticking is the injectors, but its almost like a knocking sound, its only when its cold, is this normal? Engine has about 31k on it. Been taken care of at the dealer every 5k.

 

Yes it is normal. Let it warm up to its operating temp, drive it for a little it, and it should return to its normal sound.

 

Mine does the same thing and the revs stay around 1600 rpm until the engine warms up its normal
