Well i can assume since its a bmw dealer it was a trade in, the website for ebay says 36k or make an offer.

so i asked the guy stright up how much OTD and he said
I would sell OTD for $35398.75.This car was $42,000 + new.Don't miss this
so $35k and change for an 09 .....

but thats OTD no more fee's isnt this a good deal? or should i consider going to "new" lexus purchase?

ps : my parents keep on saying its good since when you buy new you loose value as you leave the lot....

and i need a co signer which i have but would the 3.9 make up for the intrest paid in this non lexus dealer? (or in this case loan from chase)

a 3yr or 4yr is about 3-4k in intrest

(trying to get under $40k TOTAL including TAX/intrest and fee's....

If you want to be under 40k, go with a new IS250 instead. I'm currently telling my gf to head in that direction, settle for a IS250. I didnt look careful at the dealer, my bad.

SO if you buy it used for 35k, you gotta bring back to CA DMV to paid tax @ 8.75% (at least), 3k tax registration fees & 3.5k in interest. YOur total still 41.k. Plus you gotta drive back to Cali, or drive to NV to pick it up. It might not be perfect, cause it you cant inspect everything from picture.

If you can find a new IS350 for $38.5k invoice price @ low interest at 2.9 your total still about 41k. I dont count taxes, since you'l get it back if you buy it new.

Tough call man...

Where r you in Cali? maybe we can do special package deal with a dealer here. Since my gf is looking to buy too.

Don't "settle" for a 250.

The price difference is 3-4k, for over 100 hp... and you can't even add half that power to a 250 for double the cost.

FWIW, I bought my actually new 08, with a higher sticker than the car described in that autotrader ad, for a lot less than 40k OTD. Sales tax is only 3% on cars here though.

But as noted with the new car sales tax deduction you get some savings there too.

if i pass slighty 40k i can live with it.

but i was considering

35k car plus my intrest for loan and fees totaling 40 or so.
