Can the dealership add options to a car if they only submitted the order 1-2 weeks ago?
I've heard that they go out on the twentieth of the month, which in this case is tomorrow, but I don't work at a dealership. If it is something you really want changed it is worth a shot at it.
yes, they usually go out on the 20th, my friend works at dealership, probbly too late to add option to sp order, but they can always find the one you want, cuz adding option= more revenue.

They can't always find the one you want, because they don't build every possible combo- that's why some folks have no choice but special order
I would think that if they haven't actually built the thing they can still add options to the build, but Lexus isn't terribly swift in the special order process so it's entirely possible it'll delay the order.
If this is happening because they submitted the order wrong I'd certainly expect the dealership to not only fix it, but if it causes a delay to throw something in for the mistake (even if it's like a cargo net, or something nearly free to them like an extra scheduled service or two)
