Question Car won't start......

This is the 2nd time it has happened to me. It only does it if I go through a power car wash. Any help would be wonderfull.

When I go to start it the brake pedal is so stiff that I cannot depress it anymore. The car will turn over and over but will not start. When it stops trying to start the dash says to check VSC. The last time this happened I just let it be overnight and it started up in the morning. This time I let it sit overnight again and the brake was still to stiff to depress(not that I didn't try) and it would just turn over and over not starting. I disconnected the battery in hopes that it will reset what ever is causing this.

Help if you can.......thanks a ton

Not good if the VSC light comes on. It might be one of the defects on your car, just bring it in to the dealership to be safe. This should not be happening to your car at all!! GL

Make sure the gear is in park. If it's not in park, it won't start.

Kee,

Sorry to hear about your misfortune...

What year and model is your 2IS?

Also, what is "Power Wash"? What does it involve? Is it high pressure wash? Where do they spray the water?

Goodluck!

Might seem like the wrong question to ask, but did you install a HID Kit recently?

2006 IS350........I mean just driving through the auto wash at my work....no brushes just water pressure.

Anyone had this problem or heard of it. I don't understand how the brake pedal is so tight I cannot depress it. The closest Lexus dealer is over an hour from where I live. I am going to have my Honda tech take a peek and see what he can figure out.

The car only has 10k on it......I am sure the electrical will be under warranty but not the engine because of the superchager.......I hope I don't need to get it towed....

what a headache

I would start looking at the supercharger. The dealer will take one look at that and say not our problem.
