Default 0-60 in 4.5 seconds

With cold weather, low tank of gas, and spare tire and jack out of the car I was getting 4.7 and 4.8. MEOWCAT has been getting 4.7 also.
on this run i did all (low tank, spare and jack, etc.) but the tires were a lil warmer after driving around for a lil bit, and I guess i did everything perfect, the sun was hitting the pavement for couple of hours, so maybe it made me have better grip...

I don't know much about how 0-60 runs are done or how they are calculated, so forgive my ignorance. How much does wind matter on these runs? I assume there's nothing on the machine that would measure external factors like that and compensate?

the machine (Vector FX) uses a Gmeter, which measures G's and calculates them every fraction of a seccond.
when you do a 0-60 run it averages the pulls (G's) and for how long these G's were pulled, and it assumes that for the car to pull x measurements of G's over certain period of time, the car had to make 0-60 in X time.
its almost like a math equation. if you have 3 variables and you are missing one, you can formulate it by using the other known variables.

its more simple than what it looks like

Wind is very important, some people say it can make you run .2 higher or lower times. on this run the wind was blowing (to where you can tell, inside the car) I dont know which directon, but I am assuming it was behind me since i ran 4.5

You should take your car to the track to verify this.
I'm not 100% sold on the accuracy of the Vector FX.
It's timing is based on sensing of movement, this leaves out factors that
come into play at the track which means it will always be quicker than
the same car at a track.

No
F-sport intake, tanabe exhaust, midpipe, and most importantly, 275 tires on the rear that grip waaay better than stock.

Ive already done it 3 times and the vector is right on the track time every time. when i did 13.6 on the IS the vector actually said i did 5.1 form 0-60 and 13.7 on the 1/4 mile Ive doen with with my old car and this car too.
