Default Those With a Front Lip

Have any of you ever hit an unavoidable animal crossing the street or hit any unavoidable roadkill? I was just curious because when I was driving this morning it was still dark and I was following a 2nd Gen GS on a crowded road. Everyone was going about 45MPH, and as I was checkin' out the backside of the GS, I see roadkill about the size of a Raccoon come from underneath the GS . No way I could switch lanes so I took a held my breath and hear a SCUFF sound. Gross. Didn't crack my front lip but when I got home from work, I saw some brushed on blood underneath my lip.

Has anyone with a front lip hit anything alive? or... anything that was alive?

LOL! Nope, but if you were to hit it head on it probably would've break...maybe not a raccoon but if you hit a deer for sure

I have the stock front lip, hit a tree branch that fell after a storm. With OEM lip, actually was big enough to rip the lip near the driver side underneath. You really have to go underneath to see it though.

I ran over a fatass tire from an 18-wheeler on the 10 freeway in LA one morning with my OEM lip and it tore it up. Had to have JavyLSU help me retighten the screws at the shop. BTW...thanks bro.

I nailed a childs toy on the highway the day right after I installed my GFX front lip!! It was pouring rain and the car in front of me blocked my view until it was too Late and BAM!! Well i got so pissed i pulled over on the side of the high way got out in the rain and looked to see the damage, and suprisingly not a scratch and everything still intact! So if you want a strong lip gfx is the way to go, lol

Whoa that's crazy! Surprising that the raccoon didn't instantly die!

So is the answer to buy 5 lips and hang them in the garage. Then when they get broken or damaged you are ready with a replacement....
