Default iPod integration

What do you recommend for playing your iPod over the car stereo?

I'm looking at 2 products right now:

The MultiMediaLinQ
http://www.multimedialinq.com/vml.php

& the iPod Integration Kit
http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...l.asp?id=90139

What do you recommend, whether one of those 2 or something else? I'm not a big fan of the FM transmitters.

There's also an SL2VI which does iPod video and is made specifically for the iPod in case that's all you want. I have mine and I like it. I know someone who has what I think is the Lexus one and he wants mine instead.

To be honest Vais Tech confuses me a little. All of their products seem so similar, I have a hard time picking one over the others.

you could try other ipod-specific offerings from vaistech.

i have the SLI kit, and i routed it through the hole that was once occupied by the cigarette lighter adapter.

Vais is very good and a CL vendor. I opted to go with Dice & love it. Very easy install, playlists are easily read on the Nav. & the steering wheel controls integrate perfectly. The price is reasonable too.

Seriously? I just use the AUX jack and put the iPod in the console, out of sight. Works perfect and excellent sound. I don't need all the intergration. Plus, it's FREE!!!!!!
