Default Headlights acting up

SO my driver side HID headlight has been acting strangely lately, sometimes randomly when i turn the car on (lights are always on auto), one side lights while the other one stays off.

If i turn off the lights and then back on again, both work. However my driver side headlight is also now bluer than the left side one. Is this normal if the lights are dying off and need to be changed? or is this an electrical/wiring problem?

My lights are stock, didnt change anything. Id post a pic but i doubt ud b able to see the diff in color

Likely a bulb issue. A pink HID light indicates near end of life in many cases, and it is possible that your bulb is nearing the end of its life with its sudden color change. Get it warrantied if possible, or just swap out both light bulbs with new ones in the D4S bulb size, 4100-4300K color temperature.

I had that problem, for me the issue was a defective headlight that was picking up serious amounts of moisture.

this is very common with the new D4S bulbs. I've seen many new Lex and a few BMW with this problem. My car also has this problem, it's a PITA.

hmm, I don't know if you can do that in Dubai, but here in Al Ain I can do that. Everyone knows customers doesn't have the right to go in where they service or fix your car. You go to the service manager and he will manage the car for you after explaining everything to them.

Here in Al Ain Hell with the service managers because they don't give the right info to the technician or what ever he is called. I always tell the service manager and go in when they take my car inside and watch what are they doing to the car. If I see something is not okay I just tell those guys what I really need if I have a problem which is better then telling the service manager..
