Hey guys,

Just bought my first Lexus. Got a left over '08 IS 250 AWD, Glacier White Frost, Nav, etc., etc. I absolutely love this car! Finally got out of the Hot Rod Stage (previously had a GMC Sierra with a Pro-Charger @ 12 psi.) Going to quite a decrease in horsepower, but this car is still very fun to drive.

It is nice to have a car that is quiet...my wife has an FX35 and it kind of spoiled me. I am fighting the urge to get the modding bug...I have modified every car I've owned and I think I will just leave this one pretty much stock. I love the staggered wheel look however, but don't know if I want to go through all the trouble. I might just throw on a set of F sport springs with wheel spacers to bring the wheels out flush. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and look forward to enjoying this car amongst other Lexus owners!

Thanks guys...I fell in love with the color when I seen it on the showroom.

I will have to do some research on spacers with the stock wheels, but I think that will be first mod. I dunno know...after looking at all of these other guys cars with staggered wheels...

Thanks for all of the links man! This helps a great deal. Think the 15 mm and 20 mm spacers would work just as well with the 17's as they do with the 18's? They look perfect with the 18's. Thanks again!

ROFL... welcome to CL

ALTHOUGH~

you said that you've modded all your previous cars before YET you want to keep this one stock... SO~ 'i'll JUST get spacers'... HAHAHA, you should know better than that, once you start down the modding path~

LOL. I know...it's a disease. Maybe I should have states I won't do any performance enhancing mods!

The best advice to keeping you from modding your car....

Stay away from these forums.

I used to think my car was fantastic until I started seeing some of the nice rides on here. It gives you ideas.
