Question about Vaistech SL2Vi

Question about Vaistech SL2Vi
Hey guys,
I know this may seem stupid, but here goes. I have the SLi hooked up in my IS 350, and I'm now considering purchasing the SL2Vi. I've been comparing this unit to others, like the NavVideo. With the NavVideo, as you may know, you have to plug your iPod into the composite input and manually control your videos from your iPod. That being said, does the SL2Vi control your videos from your touchscreen or do you still have to control it from your ipod? If it can be directly controlled from your touchscreen, then I'll get it, but if not, I'll get the all-in-one unit where you don't have to do the nav hack. Sorry for the choppy, drawn out writing, but I'm in Super Bowl mode. Thank you in advance!
