Whenever i plug my iphone car charger into the cig. lighter and attach the iphone it creates static on the radio. Is this a known issue and is there anything that can be done about it? whenever i play the ipod thru the aux port there is no static, it's only when i have it charging

 

i have had this problem with mp3 players and my iphone. i have never found a fix for this, i took it to the dealer several times, they put filters/replaced it all a couple of times but it never fixed it. i eventually gave up on it

 

Known issue- there's a TSIB for the dealer to fix it.
