Does any body know if the stock light on a IS250 are HIDs or Hologen

 

well that depends did you get a is250 with HIDs or Halogens?

 

I believe that base, it comes equipped with halogens. However, several packages add HID and AFS systems to the vehicle. Unless they made HIDs stock on the 09. *shrug

 

goto your car, with the engine off, turn on the low beams/walk to the front fender and listen for a 'buzzz', if you hear the buzz you have HID's, if you dont you dont. Its a very distinctive electrical buzz you cant miss it.

 

How do you not know if you have HIDs or not?
