Default Replace Lower Mesh Grill

Has anyone ever replaced the lower mesh grille on an 07 IS350 (or any second gen IS)? Details and/or step by step instructions would be much appreciated.

Put a RaceMesh Grille on my '06. It fits over the stock grille and takes about 20 minutes to secure. Have had mine on for over a year, no problems. It adds a bit of contrast to the gaping black hole on the stock version. Not to everybody's taste, but it enhances the front end, imo. www.racemeshgrilles.com

Very nice! I've been looking for something to replace (or cover, in this case) the cheap OEM plastic mesh. According to the Website, a black powdercoated grill will run you about $200.

You can go to Home Depot and get a chicken wire and paint it yourself for like $20, it'll look exactly like that.

Hell no haha its just an option rather than spending $200 you can spend $20 for the same thing, if done properly it'll look just like it.

Default Lower Grille

I pulled off the stock lower grille. not hard, there are a few points along the edge that are held in place by plastic notches. You can probably take off the underbody cover and get to these. I took off the front bumper just to make sure.

Good luck!

Thanks eskae3. Was it as easy to remove the front bumper as this?
