lol nice find! i wounder how that would look on our cars though. Has anyone seen something similar that operates with a switch rather than an additional remote?

nice find, lol that is worth trying out I can imagine a few of you would bottom out the plate all over the place but nice for when you park the car and then get back in. They seem to be giving lots of tickets here when your car is parked now. I would rub the plate on my driveway every day or I would try this out.

If you bottom out then you would probably scrap the plate and the whole installation right off the car lol

are these available as well for the wide euro style plates? I'd like to be able to hide just my front plate for photoshoots only

I started watching a bunch of youtube videos of these plates by Swiftmotorsports.com and noticed that most people just manually retract their plates with this system (not remotely). I wonder if the wiring is difficult or impossible for some cars? It says "only 2 wires", think it would work easily on our car? 1 Wire to the battery and another to the...? I would love this as a NY resident, but if I spend $179 it better retract with that remote!

Presumably the other wire would be to ground.

Very slick! However, I wonder if this could be installed if you have a front lip? It seems like it would certainly make installation more difficult, if not impossible.

That's nice a nice find. They need to do one for the rear, where it fold down. Rear & front moving plates and I won't have to pay bridge toll!!! And when I speed thru red light, that's another saving.

250+ will payback within months driving around San Francisco bridges.
