you can get rims and tires for under 1600, either look at our classified section, look on ebay for lexus is rims, or get rims from a non brand name company.

People here go with brand names, and I would too if I have the money, but not all of us are ballers or have our car go through a lot of daily driving abuse so "no name" rims are okay. They aren't legendary strong or light, but they are just as strong as OEM ones.

Some companies like Konig, Rotas, and ADR makes good looking rims (though kind of considered "knock offs") that are about the same weight and strength wise as OEM.

$1600 for just rims will take you far - there's lots of selection for that amount of cash. 5-Axis wheels, perhaps?

With a tight budget the MRR's are a good price for the budget minded..but of course if you are persistant and lucky...prowl the classifiyeds and you might luck out!!!
I agree with Mike though the T1's are a sweet match..

I am definitely not getting the T1s cos of my friends car... It'll look identical and I don't think either of us would like it to be that way so yeah was considering vossens and mrr anyone would be welcomed to shoot me a pm if they have a good offer or something.. Even suggestions would be great... But please not T1s

Most after market wheels (the "rim" being only the outer wheel circumference which is mounted to the hub) are not as strong as OEM. Employing used tires are like wearing someone else's soiled underwear. Don't do it!

Cheap wheels and cheap tires will degrade your vehicle's performance. More performance gains can be had by upgrading tires than any otherone change. Don't skimp and don't fall for the myth that bigger wheels are always better. Wheels are unsprung rotating mass. Heavier and/or weaker, neither nor both is better.

Are you going for VIP or Tuner look? That may help narrow down some choices.
