I was almost in the same boat as you, except I never got the 250 6spd manual, just test drove quite a few of them and decided the 350 would better suit me. My question is, does the power of the 350 more than make up for the lack of a manual tranny? I miss having a manual tranny but I'm getting used to it

Yikes! Were you leasing? Did you own? How did it work out with the dealer? I am hoping you didn't take too much of a bath. Love the Starfire!

i will mos def. miss the 6spd manual, i been driving a stick since 2001!! but the horsepower difference makes up for it.. well i was leasing the 250, i still owed 28,000 on it, and kelly blue book they said was 24k.. but they still took the car and paid it off completely, and didnt add the over balance to the new car!! plus i got a returning customer discount on the new one!! i gotta give props to Lexus of cerritos!!

So can you tell us if theres any difference from the 08 to 09 steering wheel feel? Heavier steering? Cause i remember reading that one of the new changes for the 09 was the steering wheel rack or something like that.

To be honest i didnt feel much difference.. one thing i did notice was a quicker response while turning, its one of those things were you turn the steering wheel a bit, but it feels like it turns the wheels alot.. ill have to take it for a test drive today and try to find more details..

2.5L 6sp manual ---> 3.5L 6sp auto, now that's a serious change.
