Default What's luxury and sport pkgs difference?

I was looking for IS with luxury package and dealer told that only two are available in north California and both have not desired interior color. I noticed that sport pakage has similar options, so what's exact difference? Is sport pakage more popular?

I think ML is separate and sport also has the illuminated scuff plate

Look at the list on the lexus website.

Lux has rear sunshade and (except on AWD) wood trim, Sport does not. Sport has sport tuned suspension, aluminum scuff plates (not illuminated like Lux) and aluminum sport pedals. Otherwise, same deal.

Yup...and if you prefer the metal trim to the wood like I do the Sport is a WAY better deal (based on 08 pricing anyway).... $500 less than the Lux/18 package and you gain the sport suspension and sport pedals.... your only losses are the sunshade I'd never use and the illuminated plates (which I got free anyway but they're cheap/easy enough to add yourself)

.
Yes, does anybody know a bit more about the sport suspension (such as specs, spring rates, sway bar differences if any, etc.)?

You should look to trade with others on this forum... There are plenty of people who hate the wood, and love the metal trim... And vice versa... No reason all of you guys shouldn't swap!
