I just bought LP series coils and I lowered the front so there are no finger gaps and the rear so it is a little tucked in. The rear seems to be fine at the moment, but the front, i seem to rub every minute of my drive. When i turn, or little mini slumps, i rub everytime I cut my rear fenders but i know that i shouldnt cut/roll my front ones. So people with very low cars, what did you do to stop the rubbing in the front?? Did you remove all the plastic? or what did you guys do??? thx
I don't understand how people use a heat gun? I have same issue and posted a thread but didn't get much help..
first u, use the heat gun to melt the plastic or make it warm enough to manuever it back/push back the liner as far as possible, hold still until plastic cools down and remains in the molded form, thus equals no rubbing, its pretty simple yo
Not that simple to me. Where I am rubbing at there is a metal piece underneath it. I tried cutting my fender off but no help. It still rubs against the metal.
lol I have no idea what your saying. What does it mean to stretch tire? or side wall or wutever haha sorry im nub at this
get a smaller tire then recommened for the wheel, so lets say 225 for a 8.5 is what most members are using. its same width as the factory tire, however your wheel is .5inch wider, so your tire will have a slight strech, lowering the overall circumference.
factory oem is 18x8 with 225/40/18 and 18x8.5 with 245/40/18
or lower the sidewall series, say 40 to 35, this should fix the rubbing issue, but lessen the strength on ur tires, but I dont track or drive aggressive.
Im not a wheel guru, but there are some members on here with perfect setup and fitment.
